IV. TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Since 1995, I have taught in several music schools of Athens and in province. I have been a teacher at the National conservatory in Athens, at 1st technical high school of Koridallos and at the “Nikos Skalkotas” conservatory.

Besides Athens, I served as a teacher in the primary school of Orchomenos, and in "Evoikon" conservatory.

From 1995 to 2005, I had been teaching as a guitar professor at the "Madrigalios music school" of Corinth at the "Dithiramvos music school", of Piraeus, Athens, and at the National conservatory in Athens.

Today I teach in London, in private lessons, and in Brunel University, as a guest teacher in Mr. Frank Griffith’s improvisation class.

V.iii Collaboration with Orchestras

Collaboration as a soloist with "JUNGES RAHLSTAEDTER KAMMERORCHESTER" of Hamburg, String Orchestra (Horto of Pilio, in Greece, August 2002).

Collaboration as a soloist with "JUVENTUDES MUSICALES DE VALENCIA" String Orchestra (Valencia of Spain, June 2002).

Collaboration as a soloist with Corinthian Orchestra (Loutraki, July 2000 and Corinth, December 2000).

V.iv Collaborations in Pop & Rock Music

I have performed lead and rhythm guitar with various pop & rock bands in Greece, but also had substantial experience in live solo appearances in clubs, festivals and open summer festivals. Apart from that, in equivalent cases I have performed as a leading singer in various bands and also have had considerable experience in studio recordings.

V.v Collaboration in Film production

In 2003, I composed music for the short film "Olympia", a film by Vassilis Ksilaras, which was honorary distinct in the 9th International Short Film Festival of Drama.

V.vi Collaboration n Theatre production

In 2006, I composed music for the theatrical play "Guernica", performed in the National Theatre of Athens by the "Theatre Lab Company" of London, directed by Anastasia Revi.

V.vii Activity In Composition

I compose music for solo-guitar, guitar-duos, guitar-violin and various other ensembles.

Current member of the "Animacorda" guitar duo, which has already performed in many concert halls of Athens, and in many guitar Festivals around Greece. These days, "Animacorda" release their first CD.

V.viii CHORAL ACTIVITY

2005 - Collaboration with Emma Shaplin (Loutraki, Athens)

2001 - Permanent member of the Jazz a cappella voice ensemble "Eklipsis". Performance in the Arrival Ceremony of the Paralympics' National Teams in the Athens Olympic Village (2004).

Member of the Athenian City Chorus, for the acts of Mikis Theodorakis "Canto General", at the theatre of Lycabettus on September 2001.

1995 - 2001, member of the "Students of National conservatory" chorus.

1993 - 1995, member of the Piraeus Union chorus.

1993 - 1994, member of the Ministry of Civilization chorus.

V.ix INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

Participation in open sea sailing races, since 1998.

Member of the mountain climbing team, "Foivos".

V.x VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

Volunteer, in the non-governmental association "MOM", for the protection of the monk seal "Monachus-Monachus".
