Bass I Alex Faris Alexandros graduated from the “Ars Nova” (Nea Tehni) Conservatory in 1995 with a degree in piano (Excellent Unanimously and 1st prize). He also completed his studies in academics and jazz harmony. Under the guidance of the professors B. Foster and P. Adam he obtained a diploma in harmony (1996), counterpoint (1998), fugue (2000) and jazz harmony (2006). He participated in the CH. O. N competition where he was awarded the 3rd prize. As a chorister he has collaborated with the professional choir “Fons Musicalis” and the vocal ensembles “Diafonia” and “IMI-olon”. He is also an active member of the mixed choir of PPC “Public Power Company” (DEI) of Greece and of the choir of the Bank of Greece. He was employed as deputy music teacher in Ilion High school in 2003 and in Piraeus High School in 2004. At present he is a piano professor, an accompanist and teaches academics. He is also the artistic director of the Conservatory “Art and Creation” (Tehni kai Dimiourgia). Alexandros is finally engaged in arrangements, transcriptions and stage music. |
